Bailey Diverter Valve

AUDI-A4,1.8T,97-05 S4,2.7T,00-02 A6,AllRoad,2.7T,98-04 A diverter valve directs your boost flow. It give your boost a place to escape when you are not accelerating or when you are shifting. The valve prevents boost build up and damage to your turbo but at the same time directing all the boost to the engine when it is closed! Stock valves are made with a rubber diaphragm and can fail. Baileys diverter valves are constructed with a billet shell and utilizes a composite piston. The piston is the weak point on stock DV's because boost levels (esp higher boost levels) can tear the thin rubber diaphragm. The composite piston complete replaces the thin rubber piece and is very lightweight and does not hold heat due to the characteristics of the composite material.
