TyrolSport in Ridgewood Queens is a great spot to get your work done in the NYC area... Mike, Tom, and supporting cast did my timing belt, tune up, and SMIC... Great prices and even better work... Not to mention I blew a coilpack on Saturday and he dropped one off for my in Queens on Sunday afternoon... Check them out...

I wanted to tell you that I am impressed with the performance of the SMIC. It was fairly easy to install and the boost feels different, especially after the motor warms up. It pulls a little bit harder. I am running 15 lbs with an APR stage 2 chip and exhaust. When ever it got hot it ran like crap before. Now it stays much more consistent after warm up on a hot day. Thanks again. Good product, I would recommend it to any 1.8T owner.

I was extremely pleased and pleasantly surprised. All the work really improved the car and makes me think what else can be done. The car definitely feels more powerful even in low rpms with all the work. Moreover, there are downsides to all the work. So far I am pleased. I will definitely speak to my friends and of course look into additional mods on car.

Not sure which was to blame, but I picked up 5 to 10 mph (85 to 90) on my exit speeds onto the front straight at LRP. I credit the intercooler :-)

Thanks for checking in. Everything seems to be working well as of right now. I haven't been driving my GLI too much since it's been 90+ degrees and muggy here in Indy, but the times I have everything seems fine. Thank you guys for the great customer service.

I know I've said it a thousand times already, but thank you for everything, from taking the car on moments notice, making a fast turnaround, keeping communication and most of all treating my father and I with respect. I just want to let you know what an inspiration you have been for me and I'll always be a customer and a friend. The car (For what it is) drives great, I have a feeling I had bent valves already from someone putting the cam gear on backwards, the car drives much differently. Anyway, great work, and thanks again. Around winter I'll take the car back for the other things we talked about.

So far everything is fantastic. The bay is much cleaner, the pump is cleanly installed and everything is performing as well as I had hoped. The idle smoothed out and is rock solid again. I’m not sure if it's the increased velocity of the larger i/c piping, or just the fixed boost leaks, but spool is much much faster. Once I get more time behind the wheel I will have more comments, but thanks again for everything. Stellar job
